  • Seeing signs of decay - such as rotting and bare branches.

  • A TPO is an order made by a local planning authority in England to protect specific trees, groups of trees or woodlands in the interests of amenity. An Order prohibits the:

    • cutting down

    • topping

    • lopping

    • uprooting

    • wilful damage

    • wilful destruction

    of trees without the local planning authority’s written consent. If consent is given, it can be subject to conditions which have to be followed. Cutting roots is also a prohibited activity and requires the authority’s consent.

  • Yes, I carry full liability insurance through National Farmers Union (NFU) for £5 million.

  • First of all I would initally carry out a full risk assessment as part of the free quote process. If necessary the tree would be taken down in stage using ropes. Every effort would be made to safegarde your property from damage.

  • Small branches up to 3in/7.5cm in diameter would be added to a shredder. Wood greater than 3in in dimater would be logged and taken away unless requested by the owner.
